Big Bear Lake, CA, December 3, 2013 – Every year, Santa Claus brings gifts to around 1,000 kids in the Big Bear Valley, and he’s now taking appointments for this year’s visits.
On the evenings of December 19, 20 and 21, the red-suited visitor will call out the child’s name with a merry “Ho-ho-ho!” as he approaches the house with age-appropriate presents.
Santa will visit any youngster in the Big Bear Valley, whether local or visiting, but reservations must be made by calling either (909) 585-4991 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., or (909) 866-2253 after 5:00. Reservations will be taken up to the week the visits take place.
This is a free service provided by the Rotary Club of Big Bear Lake, whose members travel with Santa as his helpers around the entire valley. Though not necessary, any donations are gladly accepted to help to fund the program.
