Big Bear Lake, CA, February 27, 2014 – Every year, kids who’ve been through the trauma of fire injuries get a chance to just be kids at camp. Thanks to the Fire & Burn Foundation, a few dozen children between the ages of 5-17 get to ride horses, listen to storytellers, and take classes in the San Bernardino Mountains.
Burn camp in Big Bear provides a relaxed social setting where burn-injured children can be themselves, while getting the support and counseling needed to re-establish and enhance their self-esteem. It’s a nurturing environment, and there’s a simple way you can help.
For just $10, you can buy a raffle ticket for a chance to win a pair of round trip tickets to anywhere in the continental United States (on Southwest Airlines; no blackout dates). The money raised will help fund this important camp program.
Tickets can be purchased by calling the Fire & Burn Foundation office at 909-580-6339.
